Thread: How to earn from Facebook?

I had read somewhere that making applications on Facebook can make you earn some money, anyone here doing or had done that? Can we really earn from it?

I had tried earning in Facebook through paid to like a page kind of sites but have not reach payout there so never really earned from it.

Kindly share if you have ways to earn online through Facebook.

I would like to know that also. I know that some developers make money on Facebook games when people spend real money for "coins" for the games, but aside from that, I have no idea how one could financially gain from Facebook.

You could get a lot of traffic from Facebook if you intergrate Facebook with your app/site. It can post messages about your site as peoples statuses, and you will get a ton of traffic from that and then hope them Facebook users click your ads on your site. Otherwise, I don't think you can earn money on Facebook unless you are legally affiliated with them and they pay you directly.

I've always struggled with Facebook, never get much traffic from it at all. Unlike Twitter were I get loads of traffic from. I've heard people making money on Facebook, but they never reveal how lol

really? you make money with twitter? it seems like the opposite whenever i hear from other people they say twitter is dead and facebook is where the money is at? I stick to making facebook fan pages and getting lots of likes, it seems to generate a good amount of traffic

On Facebook you can use a variety of things to earn money. A really good way that's pays extremely good if you have a bigger enough fanpage or something similar is to advertise products for amazon or similar. When an item is sold you will gain a percentage of the sale! People are making $100's daily for doing this but we are talking about the really big groups.

I get no traffic from Twitter or Facebook lol.
I only have a few followers though. But I think Twitter has an amazing potential

It does but as i mentioned you really need to spend a good few months building up a strong following so then when you do being promoting your Site it wont be seen by one or two people but by thousands!

A few friends of mine are currently trying something. They made a FB application that lets people view certain funny images and lets them upload their own. The money will come from adds. I helped them a bit with php. Hope they can make it work

Another simple way to make some money off of Facebook is to develop and promote fan pages for people. People look for these people every day on freelance sites and they actually pay some good money depending on how complex it shall be.
