Thread: Monetizing mobile traffic

How would you monetize a website (which is not optimized for mobiles) receiving a huge amount of mobile traffic??

Mobile ads networks?
Adsense?

If you're using a WP template, you could upload WP Touch plugin that has a monetisation feature. I believe this integrates nicely and works well.

What kind of website is it? How/why is your site getting so much mobile traffic if it is not intended to be a mobile site? Just curious, because I am looking to figure out how to increase my sites mobile traffic. I know a site that pays for every mobile redirect that comes to your site, meaning you get paid on every visitor, and it varies depending on the country it came from. Germany I believe is the highest paying I have seen/got to my website. I think it was close to if not over $.1O for germany mobile redirects and close to a penny for USA, and varied for other countries in between. PM or reply here and we can talk more.

I am starting to get more people visit my site on a mobile device and click through on ads. Have a look for some CPAs that are suited to these kinds of people.

I have read an interesting article where someone says that in the future mobile traffic will increase considerably.

This is already happening, mobile traffic is growing at a very rapid rate.

Of course mobile traffic will increase dramatically. I mean just look at any other electronics, eventually the $3OO smart phones are going to be sold as $3O prepaid phones, much like the $3OO phones of 1O-15 years ago are now. With all the new users with instant access to fast moving web, and those who upgrade to the even newer ones will be searching more. companies will be providing more bandwidth for cheaper and you'll see even more.

When the day comes that everyone has a smartphone, imagine how big mobile traffic will be. Plus the massive increase in the use of tablets.
