Thread: What is the best way to start email marketing?

What is the best way to start email marketing? What are the websites that can give you true email leads and how do you avoid being pegged as a spammer? Also has anyone tried affiliate marketing for online casinos? Any information would be most appreciated.

Okay you said sign ups for an ebook or pdf...do you mean like a forum? On the casinos I mean just emailing people affiliate links. The other week I got an email from an Online Casino that I play with sometimes. There was some sort of free chip in there but when I checked with the regular Casino they said it was just from an Affiliate. Now I don't think they, meaning the person that sent the email, got any money from me because I never downloaded the casino I just clicked the link and then went to the casino that I already have downloaded on the computer. I do think that those people who send those kinds of emails will eventually make money because someone will eventually download and deposit some money. Now what I want to know is how people get email addresses to market the affiliate products? You know lead generation.

no i use websites or even just a landing page set up for it

on casinos depending on casino you can lose your affiliate and all funds for spamming
(non opt in emailings)

getting emails vary on that and yes it gets technical and even varies by casinos on what they allow

Well thanx for the replies and the information. I don't know how many of those people actually get banned from the Casino affiliate program because I see the same ones every week sending me the same information. I would shake my head, but i'm looking for new ways to make money.

I have never tried email marketing. To me, it seems overwhelming trying to build an opt in list. I'm assuming the process is to create a lead in webpage where people can sign up for a free ebook or email course. Then have it delivered via an auto responder like Aweber.

I've always wanted to try it, but I've never learned the details of the technical part of the set up.

Well if you compare todays competition market in online marketing everything change almost very quickly in this situation i do not suggest you to go or try email marketing if you are new in this because this is very old method and now there are many new ways to market your programs online and make money

It's actually very easy to do. I'll outline the steps.

1. Create a blog, just an example, "How to Play Blackjack".
2. Post relevant articles on there.
3. Sign up to Aweber.
4. Create a new mailing list on there, and copy the code they give you for the Opt-in form.
5. Paste that code into your blog's sidebar, at the top, and say something like "For Our Foolproof Blackjack winning strategy, enter your name and email address".
6. Have the auto-responder in Aweber send each new subscriber a Blackjack strategy, and push your casino affiliate link with it. e.g. This strategy works best on Zammoudi Casino!
7. Drive traffic to your site :-)


Eventually, you'll have a big list of people who are interested in gambling and casinos. You can always recommend new casinos and other products you're affiliated with to your list.

Interesting. This might be something I might want to try at some point. But for now I don't really know how to efficiently drive traffic to my site so it won't work for me. Thanks for the tips though

I think that the best way to generate genuine leads is through a newsletter, this is my favourite way.
