    eBooks

How successful is it selling eBooks on eBay? As I haven't heard of many people having success with it? Where else could I sell them if I can't sell them on eBay?

I don't see eBay as a good ebook market. Try selling ebooks on forums that relate to them. It is a sure fire way to get sales.

I didn't think you could sell Ebooks anymore on Ebay? My friend tried to a while back but didn't make any money from it.

I believe so too, pretty sure selling 'immaterial' goods is no longer an option on eBay, unless you print it or put on a CD. But I might be wrong.

your exactly right, you have to put the eBook on a cd/dvd, Ebay no longer allows digital sales, and yes you can make a decent living selling e
Books just search around and find out what other people are doing.

    Ok then.

I suppose there's better sites out there to sell eBooks anyway so oh well.

Nice idea about putting it on a CD, thats actually pretty smart.

However that would create a lot of additional hassle, compared to a simple digital transfer. Especially with international customers. I wonder though, what if one was selling an e-book on a CD, just to comply with e-Bay rules, but after purchase offered a digital transfer instead? Do you think the customers would report you? After all they would be getting it a lot faster this way...

yeah it does you have to take into account cd costs and shipping costs and still be able to pull off a profit, so it's up to you.

You can still use eBay to indirectly sell digital goods... you sell the CD of the ebook and in the description you say "CD of the same ebook on moneysite.com". And you have it more expensive on eBay than you do on the site. Then people go to your site and buy the ebook directly from there.

Yeah i would have to agree with the above that Ebay really isn't the place to be selling e-books for much if any profit. There was a window in time where people made a killing mostly on the how to make money on Ebay e-books, and similar back when it was news to make money online from home. That has faded for a while, either way if you have something that would sell on Ebay, spend just as much effort on proper forums and you'll make a whole lot more.
