    Do they pay?

Heard a lot of bad things about CJ that they don't pay and freeze accounts before payout?

    This true?

This is absolutely true if you are sending them leads that are against their Terms of Service. As long as you follow the rules, you have absolutely nothing to be afraid about. They are one of the most trustworthy affiliate programs you could be a part of. I receive an almost recurring income from them every month due to SEO of several of my sites which advertise CJ products. Be smart, and play by the rules, and you'll get paid every time.

I've had an account with CJ for a long time now but I haven't really promoted anything on it leading me to have a balance of $0.00. So I don't know but they have been around for a long time and have a great reputation.

Do they ever phone you at all at any time to confirm anything?

I have an account with CJ. I am not currently using it but I never had any problems with them paying me.

They've never phoned me. Maybe they will if you meet the $100 payout limit. Try looking around there site for an answer.

I opened an account with them a long time ago when I had a bit of time on my hands. I didn't have to phone verify or anything like that. As I didn't use the account, the mailed me to suggest if I don't start to attempt to earn anything in the coming month (this was a couple of months ago), my account would be closed.

Needless to say - my account is now closed.

If they close your account, you can re-activate it within (about) 6 months of it being de-activated.

This is very interesting, I wonder why they closed your account. I still have my account and have not used it for a while. I wonder what the exact criteria (if there is any) is for account closure.
